    1. The photo is part of my new project I’ve embarked upon. It was a beautiful day and all the flowers in my garden looked as if they were posing for the sun and the sun did indeed bring out the best in them but their best was already there. I think a good analogy wouldn’t you say? πŸ˜€

      1. Our best is always within us, just waiting for us to own it, polish it, let it shine out like a beacon. Maybe the sun is the catalyst, maybe a book or piece of music, maybe a gentle push in the right direction. Flowers are great inspiration, I’m working on a piece about daffodils, comparing them to horns (trumpets) heralding spring. πŸ™‚

      2. It’s true often you do need a catalyst to help you see what you may not have seen yourself. I’ve been lucky to have had those experiences and be a catalyst for others. You play that role very well yourself Joan. Btw, I took a look at my challenge series today. I can’t believe I put myself through such an endurance test.
But in the end I’m glad I did – I needed to climb that mountain. But I don’t think I’ll be doing that again! I smile when I think of how you helped me get to the finishing line😊

      3. I suppose there was a thrill in not knowing what would come next – I enjoyed the adrenalin rush and how it pushed my creativity to my limits. Of course it reflects my personality – in the end it can take you to burn out.

    1. Thank you Sweetheart! I’m proud to say that my garden is still blooming and the grass is still a lush green so with the sun shining in all its glory, I took a number of photographs of beautiful flowers like this – at the same time trying to delve into the artist in me. My realisation – the sun makes them shine but they wouldn’t shine like that if they weren’t already inherently beautiful and I give it right back to you my dear!
