Yes, I believe in both too. Accepting the choices ………….maybe making the most or the best of them where we can. We’ll never know unless we try and even expose ourselves to a bit of risk taking. π
Love, love, love, this photo. It reminds me of the intro to a modern Sherlock Holmes TV show called Elementary, or the game Mousetrap, or the works inside of a clock. Did you take it? What is it? Your poem is does a great job of illustrating a paradox, that life is both complex and simple. And it does indeed come back to us, we are both the stone and the ripples. Happy Sunday! See you later in the Jazz Room. π
Glad you liked the picture. I always found it intriguing. It stood at the entrance to the hotel I used to stay at in Montreux. I guess it’s what you’d call art? π In this instance it was great inspiration for my poem and very relevant for me at this time. I bet you could have a very different take based on the thoughts it brought to mind. See you later and happy Sunday to you too Joan!π
True that! It’s all about what do make it

I think I believe in karma but also in free choice. So yes, we make our choices but we’ve also got to be prepared to accept the results π
