She’s a temperamental Queen
Sometimes exacting her
Minions to follow her command
Before she displays a fleeting smile
Then she waxes lyrical in her charm
Suspending all who go in search of her,
In euphoric trance where time
Has no clock save the rising and
Setting of the sun
Even so, many seasons may happen
On a day,
where she sits in royal splendor
Ostentatious in her utterances
and Within the hour
she draws a veil over her face
Yes, I am slave to her,
but sometimes the court jester too
And what shall they say about you?

Great depth! Loving your metaphors here.

Happiness certainly has a way of being fleeting and short lived. Then other times it can really make time fly.

True, but I guess it’s in the nature of human beings to always chase after something illusive. I’m not sure that anyone is ever in a permanently happy state:-)
