This is a poem within a poem. Read carefully to find two very different poems which combine to form a third.

When I am in doubt
You give me a reason
To linger a while longer
To feel alive again
My mind starts to wonder
When you call my name
I wonder how life would be
My heart skips several beats
To start again,totally free
Locked in complete ecstasy
Discovering the other side of me
I feel a fire that flames
Then I awake to the reality
Still consumed in your warm glow
The darkness slowly descends
How I long for you not to go
Then the Dawn comes too soon
How I wished to dream longer!

So clever, and I love the illustration. Thank you. 📮

Chev, to be honest, I am combining your lines in different ways that make sense to me, so the permutations are many more!

Really – the formula was simple, didn’t realize there were more. I’ll take a look…

It wasn’t meant to be homework 🙂 just matching every alternate line but interesting that you found more::-)

Well, it works in more ways than intended, so that’s always a better outcome!

Congratulations to you David! and – thank you so much for this nomination. I really appreciate it though I must confess to a back up of awards. If I don’t get there, please know that your recognition is highly valued. Best. Chevvy:-)
